We’re cooking up our first project, Local Flavor Creator Cup, a YouTube reality competition where cooking and baking enthusiasts compete to showcase their talent and creativity with a twist. Participants have to produce food that tastes/looks good AND is aesthetically pleasing to an online audience. Each episode brings together local flavor, storytelling challenges, and community pride, judged on flavor, presentation, and digital creativity. Our pilot season will be filmed in Tulsa, OK and we’re currently casting people passionate about cooking and/or baking to join the competition.

NOW CASTING!

What to Know Before You Apply

We’re not offering cash prizes or payment but what you will get is an unforgettable experience in and around Tulsa. You’ll learn how to use social media and creator tools to grow your own brand, meet incredible local people, and have your work featured on a YouTube series that’s backed by paid promotion to help you get seen.

For the pilot episode, contestants should be available for a day and a half of filming (approximately 10 hours) on location in Tulsa. Each contestant will also film a short follow-up video at home requiring approximately 3–4 hours of personal filming and editing time within one week of the challenge.

At the end of the day, we’re looking for people who just love to cook or bake, who want to learn, create, and have fun doing it. If that sounds like you, we can’t wait to see your submission!

About

Some of the best ideas happen over dinner.

Lifelong friends Natalie Cagle and Emily Brown were catching up one evening, talking about how much life had changed now that their kids were grown and their schedules suddenly quiet. Between laughs and a little existential honesty, Natalie shared an idea she’d been thinking about — a YouTube reality competition that would spotlight bakers and food creators in cities you don’t normally think of as having a strong culinary scene, starting with her hometown of Tulsa.

Natalie, a digital and social media marketing professional (and self-taught home baker who fell in love with baking during the pandemic), wanted to combine her storytelling and digital skills with her passion for food. Emily, with her creative background in event planning, interior design, and home renovation, immediately said yes.

That night, Lost Baker Productions was born and with it, their first series, Local Creator Cup, a collaboration blending friendship, flavor, and creative adventure.
